Tasty Tuesday and an update

So since Katie at sluiter nation is taking a hiatus from top ten Tuesday, I decided to turn it into tasty Tuesday. Every week I’ll share a recipe I tried and talk about how it turned out and this week is…..
15 minute Biscuits!
Ingredients:
4 cups flour
2 Tbsp. Plus 2 tsp. Baking powder
2 Tsp. Sugar
1 Tsp. Salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt, blend together. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Add 1 1/2 cups of cream and mix until the dough sticks together, add the remaining cream as needed for the desired consistency.

2. Cut biscuits with a cookie cutter about 1 inch thick. Arrange rounds on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.

Makes 2 dozen.

I got this recipe from green living magazine, however I modified it incredibly. And the results were absolutely amazing. These biscuits will always be in stock in my home.

So now the update, we’ve been having Internet issues at home, screw you Qwest, so we had to switch and get everything situated again, so I promise I’m back to daily blogging. Tomorrow you get see an updated picture of cooper. Things are amazing at home, I could ask for anything more, everything is absolutely perfect.

So I have a question for everyone….should I get bangs?

I had the

best time of my life since my last post.  Things are so much better in my home.  I saw Cooper this weekend and it was amazing, he was a totally different kid minus the fact that he has his first molar coming in.  I had some amazing moments with my sweetie.

2 nights ago we sat on the couch watching How I Met Your Mother while he was a but and tried tickling me.   We were sitting on the couch just laughing away.  Last night we sat on Youtube watching some of the funniest videos and I would link them up but they’re on sweeties iPad so I’ll have to wait til he gets home from work to link them up.

But back to my point.  Its been awesome And so to celebrate I’m making homemade soft pretzels, again I would share the link and give credit where its due but I saved the web address on the iPad.  And to be honest its one of my favorite blogs that I stumbled on and if you know which one I’m talking about help me out.  She makes aprons, bakes and does crafts.  I know vague but it’s all I got.

I have a confession as well….I’m addicted to Aion.  Yes it’s a video game. An MMORPG.  But its SO much fun and a way to relax.

So with that I am off til later.  I’m going to go kill some mobs.

I’ve been MIA

And for that I am sorry.

BUT

I had more important things to work on, like the problems I was having at home.

And my home will always come first.

This has been an extremely difficult 4 weeks.  But nothing is impossible. The past 4 weeks have been an atestament to that.  I made some grave mistakes but have found a way to right my wrongs.

I am giving up my worry, I’m done making myself physically sick.  I’m going to work hard at being a mother and a “wife.”  I say wife in quotations because its not my ex-husband I am working things out with, it’s my sweetie.

I’ll be back to normal blogging next week.  I’m taking the rest of the week off to enjoy my family.
